this week was a bit of an off week to say the least.
doc was on vacay.
how dare him.
my usual monday apt was on tuesday.
the sono lady was different.
it was the nurses 2nd day at work.
saw my doc's partner.
so, all in all - it was as if i was a brand new patient.
seeing all new people.
kind of frustrating.
but, we made it through it.
just had to explain my situation 3 different times.
no big deal.
on top of all that.
my cervix had thinned some more.
in a laying down position, it was measuring 21 cm.
with added pressure, it measured 20 cm.
the partner doc thought it was time to re-do the fetal fibronectin test.
but wanted me to come back on wed.
having the internal sono preformed on the same day as the fFN test could result in false positives.
so, he wanted me back 24 hrs later.
back i went.
only to wait another day for the results.
got the phone call this morning.
NEGATIVE.
oh how i love that word.
NEGATIVE - it's got a special ring to it, eh?
i think i can say i am officially off the roller coaster for this week.
i'll be back on it this monday.
it was a LONG ride this go-round.
in other news:
the in-laws were here this week.
they cooked.
and cooked some more.
think both of our freezers are stocked FULL of food.
anyone want to come over and eat?
just kidding - it's for me, silly people.
they worked on some house projects too.
it was nice to have company - even tho, i'm not much company these days.
unless if you like to lay in bed and sleep all day with me.
babies. babies. everywhere.
my good friends little sis is sps'd to be having her baby today.

found out this week that 2 other friends are expecting.
i'm telling you.
2010 is the year to have babies.
i try daily to convince my bestie of this.

baby A now weighs 3.7 lbs.
baby B is up to 3.11 lbs.
that belly isn't THAT big for no reason people.
we couldn't be happier with how they are growing.
and for how they look in there.
heart rates. fluid levels. weight.
ALL on track.
mommy loves feeling you move.
all day & even at night.
your kicks and punches are getting stronger & stronger.
keep growing little ones.
i'm going to be feeding you more & more protein.
just for you guys.
so, eat up and continue to grow for mommy.
i can't wait to kiss those chunky cheeks.
and squeeze those chunky thighs.
your mommy & daddy love you to the moon & back.

Sorry for the LONG week, but grateful for the report! Those little babes are getting big!! I can't WAIT to hear names! :) And your belly looks cute!
