sweet amelia....
last saturday, i came home to this letter on our counter.
seriously? how cute, huh?!?
i think she has got to be one of the smartest 8 year olds (in december) i have EVER met!
to say she LOVES babies is an understatement!
when we first met her (remember we moved into our new neighborhood last october) on one of our first walks with the boys, she already knew their names and how much they weighed b/c of this:
i think it would be safe to say that we may have been the highlight of her year.
not only one baby, but TWO babies moving in right around the corner!
well, today was the day.
the day i'm sure she's been longing for!
she came over for the 10:00 feeding.
she helped:
feed.
changed a diaper.
played with them.
swaddled holden.
and helped pat their lil' booties to sleep.

~ amelia will make one FANTASTIC mommy some day.
~ that amelia has some pretty darn good parents!
~ i will be asking amelia's mommy for advice on how to raise my boys to be so well mannered, well behaved, and good natured as amelia is.
and amelia, you can come back ANYTIME!

She is a cutie! I bet she will be talking about this for days to come. :) Time to start the challenge Alicia! It will force you to start getting dressed each day...I'm in the same boat, I'm on summer vacation (aka pj's all day) and I'm forcing myself to get dressed. Maybe after the 10am feeding you could do it...
