OOOPPS...i missed embrace day.

ledge woke early from his nap, so he came outside {sleep sac and all} to enjoy the beautiful weather with daddy, mommy & sissy while we waited for brother to wake up.
no, mommy didn't wake early from her nap, she just never gets ready anymore.
please tell me this will change at some point.
right?!?!
i got a pedi yesterday for the FIRST time in 5.5 MONTHS.
{in my previous life, this was done every two WEEKS. no exceptions.}
i hope this means we are on the road to recovery.
my hubby hopes so too.
i'm just sure of it!
holdey woke early from his nap so, he got to help mommy bake.
{sleep sac and all}.
i've baked twice this week.
AND
had dinner ready.
so, i may not look pretty anymore, but by golly i'm cook'n and baking now.

food on the table?
we'll stick with food for now.
hopefully someday - i can do both.
umm...did you see that picture of my babies...that was just 5 months ago.
they were SO little.
how are they SO big ALREADY?
we do A LOT of this now-a-days!
ledge likes holding onto his brother.
he's already very protective of him.
i really could eat him alive.
hims too.
he makes me belly laugh a couple of times a day.
peek-a-boo.
daddy HATES when he has his tongue like this.
he thinks he's gonna have a thick tongue.
silly daddy.
i have told him a MILLION times that A LOT of babies hold their tongues like this.
he doesn't believe me.
i'm LOV'N the mornings.
the fresh cool air coming in the house.
the sun rises.
me in the kitchen.
baking.
soaking it all in.
thanking our heavenly Father for ALL of our blessings.
sissy on guard.
she's got a lot of bunnies and squirrels to keep off her property.

beautiful post! I've figured out a way to look perty and have food on the table. There are some sweet aprons nowadays that look like adorable and sexy little dresses. I got one. It helps!
