L&H's Construction Co.

we had the boys second birthday party this past saturday.
four of their little friends.
the friends parents.
miss kailey and her boyfriend.
and my family were in attendance.

we had bought a jump house for their party {and just to play with}.
mom and larry got them a new play house.
dad and liz got them the new tractors.
i had bought {and decorated} some big bins that were going to become sand boxes.
we were keeping with the birthday menu tradition of :: brisket. chips. pickles.
the decorations and craftiness was at a minimal.
but enough to make it look like a work zone.

the weather didn't cooperate with us.
it could have stressed me completly out.
but since my main goal for this party was :: STRESS FREE.
i didn't allow the weather to get me down.
we moved the jump house into the basement.
which worked out PERFECTLY.

uncle matt was the bounce house attendant.
he lifted one kid after another to the top of the slide.
he definitely got his work out on.
i enjoyed every minute watching him help and interact with the littles.

auntie erica was in charge of my camera.
i'm so thankful for all the memories she caught on camera for me.
the morning was a blur.
it's so nice to be able to re-live the day through pictures.

pretty miss. kailey!
we headed upstairs to eat lunch.
and calm down from all the jumping that was happening downstairs.
adam's brisket was a hit.
as always.
the kiddos munched on chicken nuggets and hot dogs.

we followed lunch up with cake and ice cream.
the kiddos loved their hats.
my boys surprised me and actually kept them on for longer than a second.

next up :: presents.
i had plenty of little helpers.
the boys got spoiled silly.

so thankful for little and big friends.
so thankful for family who were able to share in this special day.
who helped from start to finish.
we are truly blessed!

still hasn't sunk in that these two little guys are TWO already.
i'm super excited to see what this year brings us.
terrible two's and all :: BRING IT!
never a dull moment around here.
and i wouldn't have it anyotherway!
thank you, L&H for being mommy's favorite little side kicks in the wholewideworld.
i'll love you always.
