veggie garden.
ALL thanks to my brother.
one of the selling points of our new house (back in september).
was the back yard.
we moved from a yuk, no backyard.
to a pretty (we think, REALLY) nice one.
the previous owners took AMAZING care of it.
this we are so extremely thankful for!
at the north end of the yard, they had this:

although, they had full grown veggies in there.
bummed they took them with them; however, glad they left the pots.

my brother and his g-friend, erica live in northern california during the winter months, and in the central valley during the off skiing season months. they decided last summer that they were going to grow a garden at their home in the valley. they researched and researched some more and this is a sneak peak at what they grew last summer.

my brother is very passionate about his gardening.
he has helped us EVERY step of the way.
here is what we have done thus far.
i will update as progress is made.
we are really excited about this.
fresh food for not only us, but the little beetles as well.

bringing in the new ORGANIC soil.

and, we plant.

finish project. grow veggies, grow.

we even have our own rain water catcher.

and our bunny catcher too!

we have high hopes that this will be a HUGE success.
it has most certainly been a group effort.
