one week....{and a day}.

that's how long we have been in the cleve.

and it has been eventful.to.say.the.least.

think i'll go bullet style with this:

• we have successfully lived in a 2 bedroom apartment with two babies and a dog for 8 days.
• we had our first ear infection
• which for said ear infection, we had our first trip to the ER.
• we found our dream house. put an offer on it. another offer came in the same day {yesterday}. we won the bid. that was as of last night. today is a different day. and the other buyers came back and offered $10K OVER asking price. the house now belongs to them.
• we are back to square one. which means, we are in this lovely apartment that much longer. 
• we lost power last night. on the hottest day in cleveland. it was hotter here than in miami. the power was out for 4 hours. that was another first. power outage in an apartment with two sleeping {in flannel pj's} babies. 
• i joined our first play group. which means, i got online and submitted an application to be in a playgroup. i am trying to find friends. this is the most humbling experience ever. i have had 3 girls personally welcome me via email. one of which who has twin girls - 12 months old. again, this whole experience and move has humbled me.
• we went and toured my little gym and signed the boys up for the summer session. once a week for 11 weeks we will go learn, play and interact with other little guys and gals. super excited. and yes, i'm hoping to connect with another female my age there as well.
• brother was extremely fussy this morning. tugging a bit at his ear. i knew it. he wanted to be just like his bubba. got online. found a pedi {which happened to be from Texas...uhm, yes please} got him in. sho nuff- another ear infection. both boys went 13 months without any sign of an ear infection. and within a week and a day of moving here. bam! both babies get one. he also is cutting THREE molars. this is going to be fun.
• we had some stuff from the house delivered here. it was sps'd to be here last thursday. it came today. so now we are not only living in a two bedroom apartment. on the second floor. with two babies. and a dog. but, we are now sharing it with about 18 boxes. 
• it's a good thing my mom is coming tomorrow. i feel a break down about to happen.
