i was born and raised in SoCal.
i spent many of many weekends at the beach.
seal or hunington beach.
to be exact.
twas a 15 minute drive to get there.
think it's safe to say, my love affair for the sun was founded during those days.
i never would have guessed that our move to ohio would land us near a beach {lake erie}.

and it's about a 15 minute drive for us as well.
it comes complete with tons and tons of shovels. sand castles. laughing kids. beach towels galore. sea gulls. life guards. and umbrellas as far as your eye can see.
here's the first of many many more weekend trips to the beach.
{next time, we'll be more prepared. as in: in the proper attire for the beach}.
