one month

one month.

from today we will finally be home owners again.

we moved into this apartment with a 30 day lease.

that was 42 days ago.

it has been a challenge, to say the least, to transition from a house to an apartment.

one i will be okay never doing again.

but we have survived.

and will survive these next {short} 30 days.

the house is coming along.

 it is so exciting to go week by week and see the progress.
it's always a surprise to us as we know nothing about colors and detail.

cabinets are in: kitchen. bathrooms. laundry room.

they are a dark cherry wood.

base boards are up.

banisters are in the stair case{s}.

if i had to guess, i think paint is next.

or, will it be the granite?

excited to see what's next.

as are these beach bums.
