as in like six weeks late.
i was editing our pictures from our fun day today and ran across these.
untouched. lovely. sweet memories. family time.
pictures.
the little boys and i left texas when the moving trucks came to the house.
and we headed north.
to spend some extra. much needed. time in tulsa.
hugging. laughing. and maybe even crying with great friends and family.
my sweetest. most high.on.life. mommy to twins. always smiling. prettiest blue-eyed friend, stacy, came to see us and dined with us for dinner. she blogged about our time here. she has many more pictures, so if you feel inclined you should check it out. warning: 4 overly cute boys. can't say i didn't warn you.
we had fun with the hogle twins.
and so look forward to seeing them again.
i have a feeling these boys will be getting into a lot of mischief together over the years.
we saw other friends between the hogle visit and our day with my family.
but i did a very poor job of documenting all the fun and friends.
i did get a bunch of pictures with the cousins.
we spent all day over at aunt jan's.
and loved every.single.minute.of.it.
the big kids {mel & zac} were the BESTEST helpers.
to the extent i even asked their mommy if i could borrow them...
she told me NO.
i know, how dare her!
i have a few {ok, an overload} of the group shot.
please take note of sweet caraline.
she is the only one who looks at the camera. sits still. and is wondering what in the world those two crazy boys are doing.
ok, so maybe there were like 2 or 3 too many.
but i just couldn't pick which ones to leave out.
plus, i think the family will get a good laugh at those.
my sweet. precious. always on the move. little boys.
gotta love em.
we spent the rest of the time:
playing with a hose. playing b-ball with uncle tim. playing with the water table. and running free.
oh yes.
it was also that sweet girls bday above.
sweet mel, i remember when she was the only baby in the family.
seems like just yesterday.
now look...she's been bambarded with kids.
but, i think she's okay with it.
she LOVES her some babies.
this family used to look like this.
just the three of them.
the baby inside that tummy has since ventured out into the world.
they are now a family of four.
and there is yet another new itty bitty baby in the family.
and this auntie can't wait to get my hands on sweet E.
