a week with mimi.

mimi ::  that took me awhile to get used too.
she was grandma since the boys were born.
but their older cousin started calling her mimi.
so, we started calling her mimi.
and then when the boys started calling here mimi, well, that sealed the deal.

that kid on the right :: uhm, yeah, he refuses to wear sandals. only holden. only holden.

 

 

 

 

she came by herself.
grandpa was worried about the weather.
what the WHAT?!
yeah, we don't get it either.

but, speaking of weather :: we had the all.time.BEST.weather the week she was here.
it was AH-MAZ-ING!
grandpa sure did miss out!

we had fun despite him not being here.

we spent st.patty's day at the zoo.
again :: the weather could not have been any more perfect.
we decided to get a season pass.
the boys loved it, so we're pretty confident we did the right thing.
can't wait to go back.

 

 

 

 

 

we spent a great deal of time out doors.
going on walks. playing at parks. digging in dirt. soaking up the sun.
we met their little friend, annabell at the nature center.
made cookies with mimi.
ate our first popsicle.

 

 

 

 

 

we had a great week with mimi.
i sure did enjoy the extra help. 
we look forward to seeing her and grandpa in july.
