do-do's on the table.

as of late, the favorite thing around here :: playing do-do's on the kitchen table.
well, that's how it started anyhow.
now, we do everything on the kitchen table.
our big ty-ty's {tractors} go on the table.
we eat snacks at the table.
we even ate breakfast at the table this morning.

they are BIG boys, you know.

they've fallen off the chairs a few times.
think it scared them more than anything.
hasn't happened in a week or so.

 

 

the kitchen table is now full of oily smudges ALLOVERIT.
i take time to clean it.
only for them to wake from nap and head straight to the table.
and the marks reappear as fast as i could wipe them clean.

story of my life.

but, i'm so incredibly thankful for the story.
dirty table and all.
wouldn't trade it for the world.
not even the cleanest.non.oily.fingerprint.marked kitchen tables.
